12. Review copy to confirm that examples and tone are positive

This brings us back to our first point: be hopeful in our writing.

Employees need to take from the care plan:

  • Clarity of the intention shared in an article (what is the big idea behind a care plan article)
  • A desire to think more deeply about what they've read (encourage reflection)
  • Ideally, take away an action they can practice, learn, or continue to explore

Confirming positive language is an excellent way to motivate and inspire, as long as we do not guarantee an outcome.

Let’s be great at this!

Putting it into action

1ļøāƒ£ Evaluate how clear the big idea is within the article.

2ļøāƒ£ Review the article examples and the tone of each article for opportunities to reframe towards the positive.

3ļøāƒ£ If we're unsure, ask for help.

4ļøāƒ£ Confirm that we have given something to reflect or act upon in each article.
